why so serious.

A: Hey! Its your chance to shine, Masterchef Malaysia is here!
B: Really?! OMG! I'm so gonna join and win it!
A: Yeah! We all will support you wei!
B: I think i cant join la. (After checking the masterchef website)
A: Why not? Scare lose ah?
B: No la, I'm just confuse

Exam is coming up this Saturday and im still slacking! normal me la. Haha

Yesterday while having Econometric class, we were learning about regression. The lecturer did an example on effect of race and gender on wages. I was thinking in my mind, and i hope the result will surprise me! LOL

You know what, race there are 2 categories, black and white. Gender also 2 categories, male and female. After all the theory and stuff, then the regression result came out, and the result is what WE expected. Yes, black and female both got negative coefficient, means if you fall into both that categories, your wages will be the lowest.

LOL! I mean isn't there better example to use other than this?? I was looking around the lecture hall when he was talking about this to see who got offended. Haha. Maybe he took the example from the textbook, but still!? why so racist? why so sexist?

Talking about male and female. I found something quiet funny on the Astro website. I was told by my friend that there will be a Masterchef Malaysia. Im abit excited about it, although i know i wont join or anything, but i would say, there are a lot of good chef in Malaysia, seriously. Just look at the past 2 seasons of Masterchef Australia, both finals also got Malaysian! How proud is that! Yea, back to topic, so i went to their website and check.

Tell me what you see is funny on that page. Just in case the link above doesnt work. Here is a screenshot of that page.

Which bring me back to the conservation between A and B above. I stoned at the first condition for a while, then went back and read again, then read for the third time. Why so sexist?!

some random pic of claypot tofu, which i will try to make tomorrow :)
